I sew! I got my first job at 11 teaching sewing classes at a place I had also taken classes. I’ve been sewing ever since. In particular I love historical costuming, so any excuse to make another corset or set of stays, I am absolutely on board. Look at this beautiful House of Worth-inspired gown I made!

A blue 1890s ballgown I made by hand over weeks for a historical costuming event. It has peach-colored tulle across the bust, black lace around the bottom of the bodice and gold butterflies all over.
